Libraries are much more that just buildings that house and care for the records of human existence, knowledge and creativity. Todays libraries are opening their doors to their communities, offering space for meetings, classes for those unable to afford the pursuit of lifelong learning in universities, gaming centers for our youth, summer reading for our youngest, and so much more. For many the library is the center of civic life. My vision for WPL is likewise. Let it be your resource and your tool.
